Weekly Leaderboard 3 May - 9 May 2021

For many this past week was the start of their taper into Ultra Trail Australia and we thought there might be a drop off in volume and elevation, however that wasn’t really the case. The top 50 for volume this week were all over 60km and the top 50 for elevation were all over 1,000m.  There wasn’t as much racing this week as last week but still a few races on across the country with the big multi location Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday throughout Australia.  South Australia also had an ultramarathon event, the Hubert 100 in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges.   Now if there was ever a case to run laps of your driveway or a carpark just to round...

Hillbilly Run Crew Weekly Leaderboard 12-18 April 2021

The weeks keep rolling on and you runners keep getting it done. The training has been huge this week as many of you build to the crescendo of your UTA training. We can see others focusing on different upcoming races while some of you smashed it out of the park in a race over the weekend. There were a few that headed to Alpine Challenge and ran incredibly well in one of the toughest ultra marathons in the country. Weekly Leaderboard Summary 5-11 April 2021

Leaderboard 5-11 April 2021 Events galore this weekend, if you wanted to race you would have had no trouble finding one to do. There was trail races, road races, ultras on the trails and the road and even timed ultras. It’s so good to read through the Strava feed and see so many people having a crack at events this year after such a lean year in 2020. Not everyone was racing though, there’s still those with a big focus on some major upcoming races and they’ve got their head down and training hard getting the volume in and/or the elevation too.
